It’s the start of our big adventure for 2023!
We headed to the airport at 4:00pm and got to the airport around 4:30pm. We were lucky to find a smoking deal on business class seats for this leg of the trip so were able to use the priority check in desk with Air Canada. We got ourselves checked in and headed through security. Both the check in and security lines were tiny. We were through security by 5:00pm. Our flight wasn’t scheduled to depart until 8:10pm so we made our way to the Maple Leaf Lounge to wait for a couple of hours.
We grabbed some snacks and chilled out in the lounge until 7:00pm. At that time we made our way to the gate. Everything was running smoothly so they started boarding at 7:25pm. We were in zone 1 so were on the plane shortly thereafter. We settled in for the long flight to London. After having some dinner while watching a movie, we all tried to get some sleep.
