It’s the start of another trip! This trip we’re heading to Barcelona for a few days, before boarding the Celebrity Xcel cruise ship for a transatlantic voyage to Miami. Our itinerary is as follows:

We headed to the airport at 4:00pm. Darrell’s Dad drove us. We dropped off our bags at the WestJet counter and made our way through security. We were through security by 4:45pm. We had made a reservation at the Aspire Lounge with our credit card perks. We made our way to the lounge and relaxed for about an hour. We made our way to our gate at 6:00pm just in time for them to start boarding the plane.
There was a slight delay between the gate and the plane. We ended up standing on the jet bridge for 10 minutes or so before they actually let us on the plane for some reason. We made ourselves comfortable for the nine and half hour flight to Barcelona.
We took off on time around 7:00pm. After watching a movie and having a meal, we both tried to get some sleep. Darrell was more successful than Amanda in this endeavor. An hour and a half before landing, the flight attendant woke us up for some breakfast.
